The goal of this work is to define key attributes of a team which applies a team approach. If a working team does not show signs of a team approach a manager cannot expect positive synergy effects that result from team work. The author recommends managers to focus on building nine preferred attributes which characterize a collective with a team approach. In the work the author describes the signs due to which one can recognize if a team work already exists or just is just being formed. According to the author among key attributes belong: diversity, communication, loyalty, commitment, organization, equality, trust and initiative.
