On the one hand it enables and facilitates our contact with a great amount of information and goods, on the other one it is considered to be a „murderer“ of traditional values, perspectives and state. Even the state as a traditional player and, at the same time, an elementary unit of an international community is not immune to all of the current changes. Its status, functions and basic characteristics are changing gradually. The contribution therefore describes development of national state and statehood. It tries to explain the origin as well as the changes of the state shaped by new circumstances that are creating a global alignment of the current world Public work category ADE No. of Archival Copy 33677 Catal.org.
