Bending modulus of elasticity is mostly evaluated by dynamic acoustic methods (ultrasound, vibrational) that define dynamic moduli Edyn,ult and Edyn,res.. This study deals with structural timber of spruce (Picea abies, Karst.) from locality Slovakia. Both, entire set of data (n=101) and individual regions (mid SK and north SK) were analyzed. The entire set of data confirmed high correlation between bending modulus of elasticity and dynamic modulus (Edyn,ult and Edyn,res). The bending modulus of elasticity can be predicted using regression parameters of both dynamic methods. Based on statistical characteristics, a vibrational method seems to be more suitable. An effect of region on correlation between bending modulus of elasticity and dynamic modulus was not confirmed. Experimental results showed that vibrational dynamic method performed closer prediction of bending modulus of elasticity than ultrasound method, even though the differences were not significant. Cieľom tejto práce bolo overiť vhodnosť využitia akustických metód na predikciu modulu pružnosti v ohybe konštrukčného dreva zo Slovenska, pričom pri metódach diferencovane hodnotiť aj vplyv regiónu.
