This contribution deals with vegetation cover on anthropogenic forms - quarries surrounded by forest ecosystems. Vegetation structure, diversity and condition were assessed on selected quarries situated in the north and north-east area of the Zvolenská kotlina basin in the cadastral territory of town Banská Bystrica. There was carried out the quarries identification from map drafts and terrain observation. The quarries database will be completed with vegetation parameters and data about the amount of vegetation cover. The localization of the examined quarries in the Zvlolenská kotlina basin is presented in Fig.1 Public work category AED No. of Archival Copy 8411 Catal.org.
