In their interpretation we keep to the principles of communication-pragmatic theories. We also observe how the principles of semantic sentence construction are applied in the analyzed lyrics. We focus our attention not only on the means of language, which are the carriers of communication functions, but also on language-communication phenomena, whose role is to shift the text into an interactive position. We can state that the author’s coding of ideas is projected into the structure of utterances, which are the reflection and result of the communicative intention and language-communication competences of the author of the lyrics.
