This term encompasses various forms of movement and physical activity. Each of us has a natural tendency to move, but modern lifestyles often lead us to be less active, which can be termed hypoactivity. Hypoactivity results in a significant decrease in active muscle work and the functionality of the systems necessary for proper movement. Hypoactivity leads to a diminished overall quality of life. The COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected nearly every corner of the world, placed enormous pressure on world leaders, politicians, and public health authorities. These individuals were faced with the challenging task of addressing the worsening situation. Their decisions included the isolation and restriction of various facilities. Furthermore, facilities that promote physical activity, such as gyms, pools, and indoor and 21 outdoor sports and recreational spaces, were temporarily closed. Beyond its impact on physical activity, the pandemic also had a profound effect on people's mental and social well-being. COVIDMOVE is a project that aims to promote and increase physical activity among individuals in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period. Its main objective is to motivate people to exercise and movement to improve their physical health and well-being after the period of restrictions and shutdowns caused by the pandemic.
