Out of the total number of students, there were 78 males and 23 females. Their average age at the time of research was 20 years of age. Test score results confirmed that the efficiency of the front crawl kick in the group of male and female students increased. The difference of test score values was significant at the 1% and 5% level. Positive changes were also recorded in the upper limb stroke technique. The efficiency of the overall technique was determined by the test of 6 arm-strokes. The improvement of the swimming technique was of great significance in both groups at the 1% level. The implementation of the swimming technique in the swimming performance manifested itself by the increase of male students' average time by 7.06s and the female students' average time by 7.9s.
