    NoteThe study relates to the research focused on the value potential of contextual expressivity affecting online media production. Contextual expressivity as an author‘s subjectivized way of integrating expressive means and procedures from diverse areas of stylistics and their purposeful application in a common communication influences the pragmacommunicative properties that allow updating of a media product and its impact (intention and goal) on the communicative partner. The paper presents the essence, theoretical and methodological frameworks, and interpretation possibilities of a conceptually acceptable skeleton of a value construct linked to contextual expressivity. In the study, the „value construct“ refers to a pragma-communicative, linguistic, mediatypological, social and, at the same time, individually approached axiological research-interpretive platform. It is meant to reveal natural assumptions, to correlate axiological constituents and to define criteria of evaluation in communication, including the experiential complex of the bearers, i.e. language users in electronic media communication interactions. The underpinning principle of the value construct is the assumption of subliminal, usually controlled presence, effects, and influence of contextual expressivity – a used, overused, and often even abused component of communication in online newspapers and magazines.
