We deal with the current status of teachers' autonomy in the Slovak Republic and in some European countries. We clarify obtained information from the perspective of three concepts of professional autonomy of teachers created by Magnus Frostenson (2015) the professional autonomy on general, collegial and individual level. In relation to these concepts we are looking at autonomy of Slovak teachers specifically after impact of curricular reform in the Slovak Republic.
