The plasmid was introduced into tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L. cv. Wi38) plants by Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation. Transgenic F-1 and F-2 generation was grown from the seeds of the primary obtained transgenic tobacco plants. Immunoblot analyses of protein leaf extracts from transgenic plants showed expression of MRJP1.
