Zvolenská kotlina Zvolenská kotlina basin Language Slovak Country Slovak Republic systematics 622.3 Annotation This paper deals with the vegetation cover of the four quarries situated in the south-eastern part of the Zvolenská kotlina Basin near the villages Stožok, Pstruša, Holcov majer. In these quarries, the vegetation structure and plant diversity were assessed on the basis of plants inventory in the fields. The research was supplemented by evaluation of a few specific vegetation parameters, including also the proportion of the individual vegetation layers in the territories evaluated. The total of 196 taxa of vascular plants were determinated, 154 of them being herbs and 42 being trees and shrubs. The number of plants determined in all the quarries include 41,84% of the various categories of the synanthropic taxa, and 8,67% of the invasive and expansive taxa. The most natural character was found in the quarries Malý Sliač near village Malý Sliač and Švošť near the village Holcov majer Public work category AFD No. of Archival Copy 11887 Catal.org.
