The authors of the study describe a relatively new service in the Czech Republic – childrenʼs daycare in childrenʼs groups. They describe the legislation connected to this service and its main features, they discuss its strongest and its weakest links. The authors present results that emerged from the pilot research, carried out in a particular region of the Czech Republic in three selected childrenʼs groups, all of them situated in the city of Zlín. Data was gathered from controlled interviews with providers of childrenʼs daycare in childrenʼs groups, and from the analysis of publicly available information about childrenʼs groups. Enrolment of 2-year old children in preschool has generated disputes among professionals and parents in the Czech Republic. This study tests two hypotheses: (1) Preschool teachers who teach 2 year old children have higher scores on pedagogical beliefs in the care area than on other areas. (2) These teachers have higher scores on pedagogical beliefs in the care area than those who teach children of ages 3-6. Two samples of teachers from the eastern part of the Czech Republic were recruited: those who teach 2-year old children and those who teach 3-6 year old children. A self-rate questionnaire was used to assess the level of beliefs. The data revealed that teachers in both samples have very high level of pedagogical beliefs. Those who teach 2-year old children believe that care is the strongest component in their practices in classes (hypothesis 1 supported), however, their scores on care does not prevail over teachers who teach 3- Public work category AFC Catal.org. This paper deals with financial literacy in adults. The topic is approached from psycho-social and educational viewpoint. Financial literacy is one of the key topics of today’s word which is based on market-oriented economy. A research carried out in 2014 and 2015 in the Czech Republic will be presented. Its goal was to map financial literacy in adults in relation to possibilities and offers of further education. Debts are often accompanied by negative social, economic and psychological factors. The results suggest a possible link between financial problems of people and exposition to long-term stress which can lead to psycho-somatic disorders.
