V práci sú prezentované výsledky výskumu zameraného na efektívnosť využívania hračiek v edukačnom procese. Dizertačná práca je rozdelená do dvoch hlavných častí – teoretická časť a praktická časť. V prvej časti sme sa zamerali na teoretickú analýzu skúmanej problematiky. Vymedzili sme základné pojmy súvisiace s tvorivým využívaním hračiek ako učebných pomôcok v pracovnej a technickej výchove na základných školách. Zaoberali sme sa históriou hračiek na Slovensku, doterajším stavom výskumu hračiek a popísali ich vplyv na formovanie osobnosti dieťaťa. Charakterizovali sme osobnosť žiaka základnej školy a urobili analýzu školských dokumentov pre 1. a 2. stupeň základnej školy pre pracovnú a technickú výchovu. Prinášame výsledky prieskumu súčasného stavu využívania hračiek v edukačnom procese, na základe ktorých sme dospeli k opodstatneniu nášho zámeru vyhotoviť stavebnicu. V závere prvej časti uvádzame návrh, postup vyhotovenia, opis stavebnice Dominika a metodické pokyny k jej používaniu. V druhej časti dizertačnej práce prinášame výsledky získané z overovania stavebnice Dominika vo vyučovacom procese v predmete Technická výchova v 6. ročníku základných škôl. V rámci rozvíjania medzipredmetových vzťahov ponúkame možnosti využitia stavebnice Dominika v predmetoch Pracovné vyučovanie, Technická výchova, Výtvarná výchova, Fyzika, Matematika, Slovenský jazyk. Práca obsahuje 86 obrázkov, 48 tabuliek a 30 grafov. Toy as a didactic means is the main topic of the dissertation work. In this work there are the results of the research aimed at the efficiency of toys usage in the education process presented. This dissertation work is divided into two major parts – theoretical and practical. In the first part we aimed at theoretical analysis of the researched problems. We defined two basic notions linked with creative use of toys as teaching aids in technical education at elementary schools. We looked into the history of toys in Slovakia, the state of the toys research and we described their influence on child's personality forming. We characterized the personality of the pupil at the elementary school and analyzed the school documents for the 1st and 2nd level of the elementary school for technical education. We are bringing the results of the research of today's use of toys in the education process, which resulted in constructing the toy set. At the end of the first part we are presenting the design, manual, description of Dominika set and methodology instructions for its use. In the second part of the dissertation work we are bringing the results of practical use of Dominika set in the teaching process of technical education at the 6th year of the elementary school. In order to develop the interdisciplinary cooperation we are offering the possibility to use the Dominika set in subjects of technical education, arts, physics, mathematics, Slovak language.
