    AnnotationParticipation and cooperation of local governments and institutions are crucial factors in achieving sustainability goals, because many problems have their origin and solutions at local level. Training and education for sustainable development (ESD) have the key role in achieving sustainable development and must form an integral part of general education throughout the entire school system. Education of children and youth toward sustainability is a long-term process and it forms a part of lifelong learning. The crucial part in the preparation of the young generation for sustainable development is represented by the ones who are responsible for this training - teachers and other educators. Basing on this knowledge, we set the goals for the scientific project of the Department of Environmental Studies at the Matej Bel University entitled "Development of multi-level managerial skills ESD coordinators in the region of Banská Bystrica.

    AnnotationThe poster discusses about activities carried out Administration of Veľká Fatra National Park, which are implement repeatedly every year, as well as the projects which were implemented within specified time schedules in order to achieve predetermined objectives aimed at sustainable development. Through its activities, aid in proper Veľká Fatra National Park to the sustainable development of biodiversity protected area managed. Likewise, through an educational and edifying activities influence the thinking and approach to the public of all ages to the national park with all its biotic and abiotic components, which are found here.Article describes and present the contribution of individual projects, which led to the recovery of populations of protected species of this area, thereby ensuring their further existence, which requires sustainability in their native habitats. This paper quantified the social value of protected species, where the fall in number of individuals within a population would lead to incalculable damage to which an andministration Veľká Fatra National Park preventable which carry out more projects to enhance populations of protected species of the national park
