Circassia Jazyk dok. ruština Krajina Ruská federácia Systematika 93/94 Anotácia The article, based on archival documents and materials of the State archive of the Krasnodar region, introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, explores the reality of the functioning of the institution of slavery and serfdom on the territory of historical Circassia in the period 1815-1861 years, had one of the consequences the escape of dependent on their owners. The reconstruction (reconstruction) of the real picture of the situation of the various groups dependent highlanders contributes to the analysis of their own evidence after fleeing to the Russian side. Specifically is considered the fate of fleeing, as a result of the policies of the Caucasian authorities to establish their new place of residence, financial support, medical assistance, custody of children and etc. The statistics is analyzed in the context of specific historical events.
