It deals with impacts of economic crisis on personnel activities of companies and field of human resources with emphasis on measures taken by businesses in order to eliminate or moderate the consequences of crisis. The aim of article is to present the results of empiric research concerning characteristic features of global economic crisis’s affects in the personnel field of companies within Slovak Republic The subject of research is represented by sample of Slovak enterprises with different line of business, legal form, company size and place of business. The specific impacts and indicators of crisis within human resources management as well as actions of businesses oriented on overcoming of crisis period become an object of research.
