Kubealaková, Martina, 1981- Názov a podnázov knižiek ľudového čítania = Title and subtitle of popular reaging books / Martina Kubealaková. -- Bibl.: s. 204 - A paper Title and subtitle of popular reading books is the next from an author’s series aimed at popular reading books of younger provenience (the term popular reading books of younger provenience refers to books published in the 18th and 19th centuries). The aim of her research project is to define invariant and variant elements. Her conclusion on the level of titles and subtitles is, that a title consisting of two-parts or a single title with a metatext subtitle represents an invariant form. The first part of the main title is a hero’s name and its second part informs about the plot. A subtitle of metatext character refers to the genre of a particular text. It is an unmarked title of a description type and it creates a static part of text. Marked (variant) title structure of younger popular reading books contains: 1. titles with a collective hero, 2. titles, in which tension among an anticipated hero and created action can be seen, and 3. symbolizing titles. The last mentioned type of titles marked formulation is considered by the author to be a dynamic text component and she interprets it as a positive evidence of popular reading books´ inner development.
