We use primary and secondary sources. Using primary research, we have surveyed the current state of the tourism industry. The purpose of the questionnaire survey was to determine how tourism businesses in Slovakia perceive the state of the business environment in tourism in Slovakia. By the data interpreting, we applied the theoretical methods of scientific investigation, the method of abstraction, methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison and generalization method. We have compiled a summary of the strengths and weaknesses arising from the current state of the business environment in tourism.
