AnnotationReceivables play an increasingly important role in the financing of particularly small and medium-sized businesses. This importance has been recognised by many international organisations, including UNIDROIT, which is slated to adopt a Model Law on Factoring in 2023. The purpose of the Model Law is to encourage States to modernise their legal frameworks for absolute and security assignments, as well as pledges of receivables. The EU has been struggling to find common ground with respect to a regulation on the law applicable to assignments that would build on the Rome I Regulation. A modern receivables regime rests on several key foundation blocks that include the ability to describe receivables generically, achievement of third-party effectiveness by registration, and predictable priority rules. Much of the law of assignments is of contractual nature, which is suitable to party autonomy. Party autonomy in the field of contractual obligations is a recognised institution under the national substantive law of the legal order of the Slovak Republic. In some respects, the Slovak legal regime would benefit from modernisation, such as in requiring all types of assignments and pledges to be registered, which facilitates the determination of priorities. This article examines the law governing assignments of receivables in civil and commercial matters in the Slovak Republic. It not only analyses the statutory law but also surveys the relevant case law that fills gaps in the legislation.

AnnotationIntroduction: The 400 m hurdles run is considered to be a demanding discipline from both a physical and psychological point of view, as it involves coordination skills within an intense duration of activity. To determine the range of general and special training indicators and what impact they had on the performance of the monitored racer. Objectives: The case study aims to analyze and compare two annual training cycles of a 400 m hurdles runner based on general and special training indicators and their impact on sports performance. Results: In the second season, the racer ran more acceleration and maximum speed, which contributed to the improvement of personal records. She completed a volume of speed endurance of 18 km, which was an increase of 6 km, and she completed a special endurance of 32 km, where there was an increase of 8 km compared to the first season. The accumulated volume of kilometers of tempo endurance is approximately the same in both monitored years. In the second season, it is possible to see an increase in the volume of general endurance by 40 km. It is also possible to record an increase in the volume of kilometers in the second season by 4 km. During the first season, the racer ran 780 kilometers and in the next season, there was an increase of 52 kilometers. Conclusion: Based on the findings, the author concluded that the 400 m hurdles run has been largely influenced by the number of units of training which influenced also the overall range of special training indicators and by the improvement of the hurdle crossing technique - maximum and acceleration speed, general, tempo, special and speed endurance.

AnnotationBilattices provide an algebraic tool with which to model simultaneously knowledge and truth. They were introduced by Belnap in 1977 in a paper entitled How a computer should think. Belnap argued that instead of using a logic with two values, for ‘true’ and ‘false’, a computer should use a logic with two further values, for ‘contradiction’ and ‘no information´. The resulting structure is equipped with two lattice orders, a knowledge order and a truth order, and hence is called a bilattice. Prioritised default bilattices include not only values for ‘true’, ‘false’, ‘contradiction’ and ‘no information’, but also indexed families of default values for simultaneous modelling of degrees of knowledge and truth. We focus on a new family of prioritised default bilattices: Jn, for all natural numbers n. The bilattice J0 is precisely Belnap’s seminal example. We obtain a multisorted duality for the variety generated by Jn, and separately a single sorted duality for the quasivariety generated by Jn. The main tool for both dualities is a unified approach that enables us to identify the meet-irreducible elements of the appropriate subuniverse lattices. Our results provide an interesting example where the multi-sorted duality for the variety has a simpler structure than the single-sorted duality for the quasivariety

AnotáciaEfficient way of storing data has always been a key requirement for a properly designed database system. With the growing demand for this property, the first concept of an efficient data storage called relational databases was developed in the 1960s this type of databases is still used as the primary data storage to this day. In recent years, however, relational databases have failed to deal with two aspects of modern data: large volumes of data and unstructured data. In order to solve the mentioned problems looser databases with a flexible structure and a more efficient way of working with large volumes of data have been created. In many cases, non-relational databases also called NoSQL databases, have become a replacement for relational databases. Several applications require migration from relational to non-relational databases based on suitable properties while there is number of problems associated with this migration. AnotáciaThe first national survey of otter distribution in Slovakia was carried out in winter 2007/2008. The mapping was done using the modified standard IUCN/OSG methodology. Results were obtained from 275 "Databank of Slovak Fauna (DSF)" quadrates (64 % out of 429 DSF quadrates). The second mapping was carried out in winter 2008/2009 in 54 DSF quadrates (12.6 % out of 429 quadrates). In total, this covered 292 quadrates (88.7% out of checked quadrates; 61% out of all 429 quadrates in the Slovak Republic); in 36 quadrates (1% and 8%, respectively), no otters were recorded. The third one-off otter mapping on the whole Slovak territory (in all 429 quadrates) was carried out in summer 2010 with the “standard” method: 349 quadrates (81.4%) were positive and 80 quadrates (18.7%) were negative. The otter occurs in most parts of the country with the exception of parts of the Western and South-Eastern lowlands of Slovakia. Otter signs were found in all types of water bodies and channels of all sizes and in different types of reservoirs (dams, ponds, fishponds) in various land cover classes.
