| Anotácia | This monograph introduces unemployment in a comparative-analytical reflection in the context of its regional specific features. Based on analysing individual components of the labour market issues, it expands the theoretical-empirical knowledge of the social-economic phenomenon of unemployment. The present monograph covers regional aspects of unemployment and the labour market analysed in the context of selected regions of the Czech Republic and Slovakia that have long been reporting unfavourable social and economic development characteristics. The authors analyse selected aspects of unemployment, focusing on contextual definition of regional, mainly economic and social conditions on the labour market, and offer also possibilities and limits for dealing with unemployment in connection with the environment of socially excluded locations in the analysed regions. At the same time, it not only provides a comparison of the state employment policies in both countries, but also points out the reserves and possibilities of providing employment services and realising the employment policy by non-profit organisations in selected regions of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This publication also contains a comparative view of the possibilities and limits in education on the phenomenon of unemployment with its various implications. |
